“Spider Mites were all seriously eradicated within 3 days” – MiteShield Testimonial

Spider Mites are a curse when they strike. This latest feedback comes from one of our repeat customers in Michigan, USA. He’s delighted with MiteShield and we are thrilled to receive his feedback. Thank you!

Just wanted to follow up on a recent order of Miteshield.

My experience has been nothing short of amazing when fighting the little six legged enemies.  I have used the product on two different occasions over the past year and each time my mites were seriously eradicated within 3 days.

I recommend using the product as much as a preventative for the months following the original application.  I will plan on using the product with all new plants until I am certain all signs of mites have disappeared.

Best product I have ever used for treatment of mites! Enjoy and keep up the good work.

We certainly will – and thank you for being such a great customer. Free samples of The Beautiful Boost on their way to you, friend.

Spider Mites Killer?

Spider mites

Spider mites

Spider mites are a huge dilemma for an organic or medicinal grower – do you use toxic products which will taint your grow or resort to organic but less effective methods? Thankfully, MiteShield dispenses with this dilemma by being both effective and organic.

We have a bias in our culture towards thinking that “strong” and “effective” are equated with “toxic” and “concentrated”. Not so. MiteShield is just one product that demonstrates you can have effectiveness with a non-toxic, natural product without intense chemical interventions.

Our friend who wrote this feedback says that “my spider mites were seriously eradicated within 3 days” by MiteShield – respectfully, we’d like to correct this. The mites are repelled by the plant after MiteShield is applied. MiteShield doesn’t directly kill mites. Instead, they die because their food source becomes unviaible, as the plants now defend themselves naturally.

MiteShield review by Irish Growshop Owner

Growshop: Red Spider Mite

Red Spider Mite

Yesterday we got this wonderful testimonial from Irish growshop owner about their customers’ experiences in using MiteShield for Spider Mite Infestations over the course of a year.

Here’s what they sent us:

MiteShield has proven to be an effective treatment for mites and, more importantly, an effective prevention for mites and other unwanted insects.

With high humidity in Ireland our grow shop customers would be prone to outbreaks. The customers which have used MiteShield have been satisfied and have not needed to try more extreme toxic solutions.

Unfortunately, the customers who don’t use MiteShield often do end up resorting to toxic chemicals in order to attempt to control their mites, with less than satisfactory success.

Not everyone is willing to believe that something which isn’t harsh could work on problems which are harsh. Some folks don’t want to try MiteShiled for just that reason: They can’t believe it would work.

The mites don’t have that problem, they don’t wonder if this stuff is actually effective: They just disappear from the plants treated with MiteShield. Usually they don’t come back, but if the infestation was advanced and a few mites reappear, a second treatment of MiteShield sorts that out. Job done.

Kindly,

Irish Growshop Owner

Growshops find MiteShield does the heavy lifting of Spider Mite removal

Thank you, Irish Growshop Owner for sharing your customers’ experiences with us.

There is indeed a belief that’s out there which doubts that anything non-toxic or organic can actually do the heavy lifting of ridding a plant of a spidermite infestation. We seem to have suckered ourselves into believing that only something harsh, corrosive and toxic has the power to rid plants of stubborn pests. Not so.

We’re pleased that your customer’s experiences have tallied with our own – that MiteShield does the job.

FAQ: What is in MiteShield? What’s the active ingredient?

Question Mark

Question Mark

Ah, the burning question. Everyone who uses MiteShield wants to know what kind of preparation it could possibly be that rids their plants of spider mites, yet without toxicity and generally without the need to re-apply.

We would love to tell you more about it but until we legally protect the MiteShield formula this info must remain confidential for the moment. You can be sure, however that it is definitely organic and non-toxic.

FAQ: Is MiteShield organic and non-toxic? Really?

Organic Tomato

Organic Tomato

You can rest assured that MiteShield is wholly, 100% organic and non-toxic. No protective clothing is needed to apply MiteShield and it leaves a minimal footprint in the growing environment.

MiteShield is entirely safe to you and your plant’s health. It will not alter the chemistry of the treated plant in unfavourable ways.

In time we will have MiteShield independently verified and certified as organic.

FAQ: Hydroponics and Spider Mite control using MiteShield

Hydroponics System

Spider Mite control in Hydroponics Systems

For Spider Mite control in hydroponics systems, simply prepare using the standard instructions using 2 litres for every 10 plants on the system, or 200ml of prepared solution per plant.

Pour this solution into the reservoir and allow it to circulate for 12 hours – but not more than a 24 hours. If you are using Coco – you may water each individual plant with 200ml of the solution.

Hydroponics and clearing MiteShield using UV light after treatment.

In a Hydroponics system the risk is that MiteShield will continually circulate in the water and ‘overdose’ the plant. It’s not a good idea to overstimulate your plants with MiteShield this way.

To avoid this from happening, we advise that once the treatment period explained above is completed, the circulating water in your hydroponics system be exposed to UV light at some point in the circuit – typically the reservoir.

The UV light can be introduced in a few different ways

  1. Halogen bulbs emit sufficient UV light for the MiteShield to be denatured. However, many of these bulbs have UV filters. Check with your manufacturer to find out which type you have. If you’re growing indoors using Halogen bulbs which emit UV light, then no further steps may be necessary.
  2. A standard, inexpensive fish-tank UV light can be shone into the reservoir for between 2-6 hours – enough time for all the water in the circuit to be exposed to it. You can also buy inexpensive blacklight/UV lightbulbs that fit in standard sockets from hardware shops, pet shops or online.
  3. The UV light in direct sunlight will also do the trick.

After MiteShield has been applied and mixed into the hydroponics system, shine your UV light into the reservoir for at least 3 hours with the water circulating to denature the preparation.

Now sit back and watch the mites gradually clear off your plants over the course of two to six days.

“And on day two i have to say i am impressed, the borg seem to be dissapearing”

Thanks to the Northamptonshire Cannabis Social Club for this ringing endorsement of MiteShield

I have just started using the sample bottle you sent me last year. And on day two i have to say i am impressed, the borg seem to be dissapearing.

So you can get back to enjoying the fruits of your labours without any toxic aftermath whatsoever. Thanks for your feedback.

Plants threatened by spider mites saved by MiteShield

Today’s feedback comes from A. Groman who had a thorny issue with his plants.

I had an small infestation when I came across MiteShield, I quickly asked for some of their product, it was dispatched and arrived in a couple of days, I used it as directed in all my plant pots, and thankfully, the others didn’t have a problem at all!!, the infected plant continued to hatch the remaining eggs, but the little buggers never spread beyond a few at any time. Fantastic stuff!!

A Groman

Mr. Groman reports that the single troubled plant had been stressed from being over-fertilised and had required a flushing. Plants in a weakened state may have fewer resources to fight mites, even if they’re able to. MiteShield works by activating the plants natural defences – but if the plant is knackered in the first place it’s capacity to defend is diminished. Nevertheless, a good result.

Get rid of Thrips with MiteShield – a grower writes to us

Thrips

Thrips

We recently heard from a grateful hydro grower who used MiteShield for his problem with Thrips. He writes:

Was going to email last week, but thought I’d give it another week to make sure.

All I can say is amazing!!!!!!  Miteshield has worked a dream, thrips are still there but not able to feed, or if they are the roots are outgrowing them.

Applied the following way,

  1. Mixed as per instruction
  2. Applied to res. (not sure if this is relevant but I leave the tap water to stand for 24 hours before using it to allow the chlorine a chance to evaporate).
  3.  *shield left in res for 12 hours
  4. Opened res and applied a fish tank UV light to the solution for 3 hours

Can I get some more Miteshield, say 50ml or so?

Of course you can! Thanks for writing.
